A WINTER STORM WARNING is in effect until 4pm.
TODAY: Rain early this morning quickly changes over to a heavy and wet snow. Temperatures will remain in the low to mid 30s so most of the accumulation will be on grassy areas, but there will be slushy roads. Expect a general 3"-6" over much of the region with more in the higher spots to the west. Just to the north and west, 6"-12" is expected.
TONIGHT: It's mostly cloudy with lows in the upper teens.
TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy and chilly with highs in the mid 30s.
WEDNESDAY: Another storm system will bring a chance of snow then freezing rain in the morning. Significant ice accumulations are possible with up to 1/2" of ice. With this amount of ice, trees and powerlines may snap causing power outages. Highs will be in the mid to upper 30s.
THURSDAY: Partly sunny and cold. The high 30.
FRIDAY: Partly sunny with highs in the mid 30s.
SATURDAY: A low pressure to the south brings a chance of rain and snow. High 33.
SUNDAY: A bigger coastal storm will need to be watched for the chance of snow. High 32.
Enjoy your day! Alan
