The National Weather Service has issued the following winter weather alerts for the area in advance of our next winter storm approaching the area...

Winter Storm Warnings for the following counties:
In Pennsylvania: Adams, Bedford, Franklin, Fulton & Somerset
In Maryland: Allegany, Frederick, Garrett & Washington
In West Virginia: Berkeley, Morgan, Hampshire & Mineral

Winter Weather Advisories for the following counties:
In West Virginia: Jefferson, Hardy & Grant 
In Virginia: Clarke, Frederick, Loudoun, Page, Shenandoah & Warren

Snow will begin to fall early Saturday Morning and could be heavy at times as we get into Late Saturday Morning.  By Saturday Afternoon, snow will mix and then change into freezing rain.  Snow total accumulations of 3 to 6 inches, with higher amounts possible, especially in Pennsylvania.

TODAY:  Snow throughout the daytime, heavy at times.  3-6" possible, higher in some spots.    HIGH:  32.  Wind: East 5-15  MPH.  

TONIGHT:  Snow will gradually change to freezing rain.  Accumulations of up to a tenth of an inch.   LOW:  29. Wind: East 5-15 MPH.

SUNDAY:  Early mountain snow showers.  Mostly cloudy.  HIGH:  38,  LOW:  18. 

MONDAY:  A mix of clouds and sunshine.  HIGH:  28,  LOW:  20.  

TUESDAY:  Partly sunny, a chance of flurries.  HIGH:  38,  LOW:  24.

WEDNESDAY:  Partly cloudy.  HIGH:  35,  
LOW:  24.  

THURSDAY:  Partly sunny.  HIGH:  38,  
LOW:  27.

FRIDAY:  Mostly cloudy.  HIGH:  47,  LOW:  30.
