Stephanie's Tuesday Forecast 1/7/14

A Wind Chill Advisory and Warning is in effect for the 4State into Tuesday afternoon.  Wind chills are expected to drop to -40°F in some spots in the early hours of Tuesday morning.  Take caution as you head outside, as temperatures will stay in the single digits in many spots.  Winds will exceed 20 MPH with wind gusts up to 40 MPH, making wind chills dangerously cold.  As wind chills dip down into the -20's, frostbite can occur within minutes.  Make sure to dress in multiple layers when going outside and bring in your animals. 

TODAY: The polar vortex will bring temperatures into the low teens and single digits for highs. Wind chills will remain below zero for most of the day.  HIGH:  10,  
Winds:  West 16-22 MPH,  Gusts 20-30 MPH.  

TONIGHT:  Mostly clear and cold.  LOW:  7, Winds: 10-15 MPH.

WEDNESDAY: Still chilly with a mix of clouds and sunshine. HIGH:  26,  LOW:  20

THURSDAY:  Mostly cloudy and slightly milder.  HIGH:  35,  LOW:  26

FRIDAY:  Cloudy and milder.  HIGH:  40,  LOW:  34

SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy and rain showers  HIGH:  50,  LOW:  39

SUNDAY: Sunshine and clouds.  HIGH:  52,  LOW:  36

MONDAY:  Partly sunny.  HIGH:  50,  LOW: 39.
