Weather Synopsis: After a fantastic Sunday and Monday, changes are coming to the forecast starting tonight. The clouds will thicken up tonight, and as a warm front approaches the area on Tuesday & Tuesday Night, we will see the chances for rain showers increase. Once we get through Tuesday, we will keep the chance for showers and thunderstorms in the forecast for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. A cold front will sweep through the area as we get into Friday, and that will clear us out right in time for the weekend!! Minor flooding could be a concern as we get into the latter portions of the week. The Weather Prediction Center has the area receiving 1.75-2.00" of rain by the time we get to Friday, with most of that coming Late Wednesday through Friday. We will have to keep an eye on that situation, as we will have plenty of moisture to work with.
Enjoy this final day of nice weather this week, and see you on WHAG News at 7:00 & 11:00 PM tonight!
