Weather Alerts: A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from Midnight to 11:00 AM Wednesday for majority of the viewing area. As a warm front lifts north of the area tomorrow, we are looking for some precipitation to develop overnight and into Wednesday. As temperatures drop tonight, and the precipitation begins to fall, this will fall as a little freezing rain/freezing drizzle, which will make the Wednesday Morning Commute slick to school and work. Then, as temperatures warm up, we will change the precipitation over to rain, before it ends late Wednesday.

High Pressure will build into the forecast for the latter portions of the work week, sending our high temperatures above average, as we enter the First Day of Spring, but our next weather maker after Wednesday arrives for Saturday with our next chance of rain.

Remember: It only takes a little bit of freezing rain/drizzle to make the roads slick, including bridges/overpasses and elevated surfaces first, before everything else. Plan on giving yourself extra time to get to your destination tonight and Wednesday Morning.

Have a great evening and I will see you on WHAG News at 7:00 and 11:00 PM!
